The new rail line linking Helsinki Airport with the downtown area opened July 1. It was a “soft” opening, however; the station entrance directly from the air terminal won’t open until October. Until then, travelers use shuttle buses to/from a nearby station. Trains run every 10 minutes during the day, making the journey in about 30 minutes. Fare information is not available yet.
