The upgraded suburban service from Geneva into nearby French areas has started. Trains originate in Coppet, run through Geneva’s central rail station, and use new tunnels to reach Annemasse, France, through the renovated Eaux-Vives station. At Annemasse, routes radiate to Evian, Annecy and St. Gervais.

The new services replace the former system of local trains that originated at the old, isolated Eaux-Vives station. The Annemasse network is now connected with the full Swiss system at Geneva main station. More information
